This poster collab with Justin Dickau for the Nemo Poster Project marked the last chapter in a strange chain of events that began at the Roxy in LA in 1988 and ended with a photo I’d taken of Sonic Youth appearing on the cover of Thurston Moore’s Trees Outside the Academy decades later. I once had the full story documented on my old blog, strangebeautiful, which is long overdue for a bit of resurrection.
