Specimen 23 grew out of a decades-long obsession with custom typography, its form taking shape through the 1990s and early 2000s. A few collections sold, some were licensed through Plazm Fonts, and one was even built for the Palm Pilot. Each was equal parts experiment and love letter to the raw, restless design energy of the era.
