I’ve been fascinated by scanning electron microscopy since I was a kid, drawn to how it reveals the unseen and makes the familiar look entirely new and at times — unrecognizable.
For more than sixty years, FEI designed and built some of the most advanced microscopy systems in the world, giving scientists the ability to explore and measure at the micro, nano, and picometer scales.
That shared sense of curiosity shaped the project.
The new FEI site was designed to educate and inform through clear product and workflow storytelling while celebrating the extraordinary imagery their instruments capture. Every page was built to balance precision with wonder. A reflection of both the science and the art of looking closer.
